Digital logistics startup “yolda” raised a US$ 830,000 in pre-seed round led by Collective Spark

The investment was led by Collective Spark with several renowned angel investors from Turkey and Europe participating to the round including Barbaros Özbuğutu (founder of iyzico), Florian Gschwandtner (founder of Runtastic), Marcus Mosen (investor in N26, iyzico) and Stefan Kalteis who invested in successful startups such as SumUp, iyzico and Payworks.

yolda, which provides services for logistics operations from Istanbul to 80 provinces and 922 districts, aims to expand its team and increase automation and operational efficiency by developing new generation technologies with this investment.

Since inception last month, yolda, co-founded by Volkan Özkan and C. Murad Özsert, has received strong interest from companies with full-truckload (“FTL”) and less-than-truckload (“LTL”) shipment needs across Turkey. The founders describe “yolda” as a “Digital Logistics Operator”, noting that they aim to improve logistics operation processes and lead digitalization efforts in the sector with the technologies and solutions they have developed in-house. Thanks to the intelligent capacity management tools developed by yolda, LTL shipments can be managed end-to-end with minimum hassle whilst damage rates and costs are reduced and delivery times are optimized.

yolda’s marketplace solution encompasses many local forwarders and logistics companies, enabling SMEs and corporate enterprises to receive instant quote for multiple shipment requests on a single platform. Companies can also track their shipments via yolda's intelligent control panel and measure their logistics operations performance with detailed reporting services.
