As a startup providing both digital and operational solutions to find the right candidates for individuals who'd either like to rent their houses short/medium term or to share with guests, Missafir offers numerous services for the house owners from offering artistic touches to prepare the house for guests to professional photo shooting; from creating profiles in the 15+ globally most demanded platforms to search optimization for the ads to appear on top and to dynamic pricing that maximizes the rent income.

Founded in November 2018 by Mehmet Yuksel, Missafir was also among the startups participating in Webrazzi Summit 2019 Startup Lounge. Today's shared information states that Missafir received an investment with 2 million dollar valuation. Note that no information on the investment sum is yet shared.

Investors of Missafir include KWORKS - UNVEST, Mehmet Onarcan -who previously invested in numerous startups and acting as the leading investor at Missafir, Emre Tok -the ex-vice president responsible for growth who supported Careem to exit Uber for $ 3.2 billion, founder of Garaj Sepeti Mehmet Celikol, founder of StartupMarket Serkan Bagce, Sercan Alici, Bahar Gucuyener Pardorokes, and Alper Sener -one of the angel investors of Keiretsu Forum Turkey network. Moreover, the serial entrepreneur Mete Varas -one of the leading characters in Proptech- is also among the consultants of Missafir.

KWORKS Director Mahmut Ozdemir highlighted the fact that Missafir was one of the most prominent startups among the startups included in 2019 Acceleration Program, and stated that their desire was to keep on supporting this successful startup by investing in them right after the completion of the program.

Mehmet Onarcan expressed that they went on with the investment process despite their operations being one of the most affected ones by the Covid-19 process, and shared information that they have established a fully capable investment group who would supply "Smart Money".

Founder and CEO of Missafir Mehmet Yuksel's declaration informed us that the new investment received will be used for expanding the startup in Istanbul and to open it to new markets such as Bodrum, Cesme and Antalya.
