We had already mentioned startups such as Unsplash, that let you download free high-quality images. Pexels, just like Unsplash, operates as a platform where photographers can upload photos and users can download them for free. Pexels, which launched in 2014, increased the number of its categories and started sharing free videos under the name Pexels Videos.
Unlike the Pexels app, Pexels Videos is currently only available on the web. People upload their own videos to Vimeo, and Pexels opens video sharing via Vimeo. Anyone can download these videos and use them wherever they need them.
When we take a look at Pexels Videos' own site, we see that all videos are suitable for commercial or non-commercial use. People who use the videos on the platform do not have to refer to video owners in any way. Users can also make changes on the photos if they want to. Let us remind you once again that free video download option is only available on the web. The Pexels app does not allow video sharing yet.
If you need stock videos for your website or social media posts and don't have the budget for expensive stock video sites, Pexes Videos will surely help. However, it is worth noting that the videos on the platform are not as good as the stock videos we are already familiar with. If you need a video for more artistic and alternative projects, check out Pexels Videos. You can access the photos free of charge from the website.
