Established in December 2017 with the name of Roitech Information Technologies and Consultancy, Akıllı Magnet allows consumers to reach brands and products by getting their mobile phones close to visuals of the brand with the NFC technology, without the need of downloading applications.

Akıllı Magnet, which took around 11 months to develop with research&development studies and become available as a SaaS, has been founded by Serkan Ünek. At the moment, Akıllı Magnet, managed by a team of 5, is able to digitize fridge magnets that have been useless until now.

In short, Akıllı Magnet, which digitizes objects, enables consumers to reach their services and products without having to download any applications to their phones. Akıllı Magnet, which is a successful choice for those who do not want to fill their smartphones with mobile applications they only use once, also received support from KOSGEB and TUBITAK.

Akıllı Magnet, currently used by 1000 customers of McDonald's, allows users to quickly order McDonald's via the Akıllı Magnet. Roitech Information Technologies, working with Opet, offers 3 different solutions to users at 550 stations and at 2200 sale points.

Wants to expand in countries that use a lot of magnets

Akıllı Magnet, which has not received any investment to date, has 2 different revenue models. Akıllı Magnet offers two different income models depending on the amount of magnets and the location of the service. Roitech Information Technologies aims to change shopping habits in Turkey with Akıllı Magnet and hereby creating e-commerce habits for consumers and the company believes that this will expand the market and that service sectors can reach their customers more quickly and easily.

Roitech Information Technologies aims to lower the cost of producing NFC tags which are not yet being produced in Turkey and aims to increase its earnings by export. Also they want to expand to countries that have a magnet culture and also to expand their business by including different application areas.
