QNB Finansbank, which aims to obtain an important place in the venture ecosystem with QNBEYOND Acceleration Programme , is now set to start investing in early-stage ventures with QNBEYOND Ventures.
The main focus of the investments to be made by QNBEYOND Ventures ,both in Turkey and globally, will be ventures that align with the strategic goals of the bank and that can shape the future of financial services. That in last year in June QNB Finansbank invested $200.000 in Kassa, a first-term venture of QNBEYOND Acceleration Programme, which was its first investment, should also be remembered.
Aiming to make new investments, QNB Finansbank allocated $15 Million for this purpose and founded QNBEYOND Ventures QNBEYOND Ventures, which plans to invest in approximately 20 different ventures will also partake in different VC funds as investor.
QNBEYOND Ventures, which will focus on verticals positioned around financial services such as fintech, SaaS, cyber security, artificial intelligence, big data, retail technologies, legal regulation technologies, marketplaces, insurance technologies, agriculture technologies, and real estate technologies, will have an average first investment amount per venture of $300.000 and will make continuation investments of up to $1 Million in portfolio ventures under suitable conditions.
For considering ventures for investment, , in addition to strategic priorities, QNBEYOND Ventures will take into account the founding team, the product's technology and the value proposition created in the market.
Currently, QNBEYOND Acceleration Programme, with 75 mentors who are experts of their fields, provides counselling services to ventures on all matters they may require it such as sales, marketing, law, product management, globalisation, and finance, and supports them with special discounts from its 61 global and local business partners such as Google, Zendesk, Camekan, Mobile Action, Product Hunt, Zeplin, Hubspot, Notion, and Segment. With QNBEYOND Ventures, by investing in early-stage ventures, it will also ensure the ventures accelerate much easier.
