Founded by Turgut Yazıcı, Mehmet Çağrı Göncü and Aslı Kubilay in January of 2018, Shopi operates as a SaaS startup providing cloud-based mobile solutions for the retail industry that makes the in-store shopping experience fulfil consumer expectations.
Shopi received an investment of 520k dollars from Ari Keşişoğlu, Haluk Can Hür, Melih Ödemiş, Faik Ulutaş, Aydın Evren Özol, Gökçe Kabatepe, Fatih Mehmet Çalkan, and Mehmet Sinan Kızıldağ. Expanding also within the global market with its offices in London and Dubai, the local Saas startup Shopi aims at becoming one of the global players for retail industry's transformation to digital.
Shopi locates the sales consultants, and the store itself as the center of transformation. Shopi ORP (Omnichannel Retailing Platform) transforms sales consultants into highly empowered "brand consultants" by integrating highly significant functions such as catalogue for sales consultants, immediate access to stock and customer data, receiving payment, task and performance tracking all in one application; while allowing individual customers to attain uninterrupted and hassle-free service with the in-store self-service practices. By using Shopi, traditional retail brands provide their customers an uninterrupted shopping experience within the store, regardless of the sales channel being online or offline.
Shopi ORP, on the other hand, was developed by the new generation cloud and mobile technologies.
